I want to use my purchase on another device
Sign in with the same Apple Account and tap “Restore Purchase” on the export purchase screen.

Does deleting an entry in the app delete the original video?
No. The original stays in your photo library.

Kite Compare (“the App”) lets you organize kiteboarding trick videos on your device and compare two of them side by side. The App is developed and operated by an individual developer (GitHub: ippoutsukou).

Information We Collect

The App does not collect or send personal information, usage data, device identifiers, location, contacts, photos, videos, or any other data to the developer or third parties. The App does not use advertising, analytics, crash reporting, accounts, or cloud sync.

Photo Library Access

The App uses photo library access to play and compare the videos you choose. When you add a video, the App stores only a reference (identifier) to the video in your photo library; videos are never sent off your device. If you choose a video from the Files app (such as an SD card), the App saves it to your photo library first and then adds it. The original file is not changed. Limited access is supported.

When you create a comparison video, the App saves it to your photo library only when you choose to.

Information Stored on Your Device

Your entries, such as trick categories, notes, video start positions, and photo library references, are stored only on your device. Comparison videos are created on your device, and any temporary files created during this process stay on your device.

Sharing

Comparison videos you create are passed to an app or service only when you choose one using the system share sheet. The terms and privacy policy of that service apply there. Neither the App nor the developer receives or controls where you share.

In-App Purchase

The App offers a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks comparison video export. Displaying, purchasing, and restoring the product are handled by Apple’s StoreKit and the App Store. The developer does not collect or store payment information or Apple Account information. Apple’s privacy policy applies to Apple’s handling of that information.

Deleting Data

When you delete an entry in the App, that entry is removed from your device. The original in your photo library is not deleted. Deleting the App also deletes all entries stored on your device.

Third Parties

The App does not sell, share, or provide your data to third parties.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “Last updated” date on this page will be updated. If the way data is handled changes, the privacy information on the App Store will be updated as well.
